MGSI was contracted to install not only curtain wall and glazing, but also the majority of the exterior facade of the building. Project specifications called for a composite wood veneer panel rainscreen system, fixed to 1/8" aluminum hat channels with exposed fasteners. The hat channels were fixed to fiberglass zee girts, with 4" rock wool insulation between the girts.
